Ross Ford… The Man - The elementary school was named after a gentleman who had been its principal for fourteen years. During his years teaching, he taught music and directed a school orchestra.
Ross Ford… The School - Ross Ford Elementary School was built in stages, with the main core completed in 1963. The newest edition of the school was completed in 1982. During the 2003-2004 school year, the school was modernized with upgrades including new electrical, ventilation and heating.
